The Position:
The Investment Consultant's primary focus is to solicit new business from high networth and institutional customers. This individual will own the sales process and presentation to the client from end to end.
Specific responsibilities include:
Serves as the primary new business generator sp! ending a majority of time generating new relationships

Cultivates and maintains relationships with numerous sources of new business, including company officials, attorneys, accountants and social acquaintances
·
Meets with prospects to explain the company's investment management, and consulting services. Discusses the advantages of proper planning and obtains background information on corporate or personal finances
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong sales and/or people skills, a genuine desire to help others, and an interest in keeping informed and up to date on the changing economic, legal, financial planning and investment trends. Specifically the individual will have the following qualifications:

5+ years of progressively more responsible banking, investment and personal financial planning/advisory related experience with high net worth clients
·
Experienc! e should include a successful track record of business development with complex and significant client cases
·
The individual must be flexible, decisive and creative with strong interpersonal, sales and relationship management skills
·
B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field
·
CFP or CFA designation preferred
