Rozlin Financial Group, Inc. (RFGI) of Sycamore, IL is looking to hire remote work from home full-time Debt Collectors.
Call center related experience highly recommended, but not required.
This Debt Collector position starts at $17.50/hour plus commissions. With commissions, debt collectors earn $45,000 - $55,000/year ($20-27/hr) on average. We also offer prizes and rewards such as paid time off, e-gift cards, and bonus add-ons.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DEBT COLLECTOR
As a Debt Collector, you play a central role at our collection agency! You’ll work to collect payments on bills that are over 180 days and often up to several years past due. This work includes:
- Placing 250+ outbound calls per day, you’ll use your training and empathy to negotiate solutions and overcome many objections and disputes.
- Work with the consumers to help them understand why they owe the bill, then you’ll be able to assist them in setting up a repayment plan that works for them.
- Follow-up with and organize accounts by designations such as hot leads, paid in full, unemployed, and work in progress.
- You’ll review accounts for outdated or incorrect information, to locate updated contact information for consumers such as phone numbers, mailing addresses, email addresses, and current employers; performing skip-tracing.
- You’ll also follow up with consumers on payment plans whose payments have bounced.
- You must comply with both company policies and applicable laws, which you’ll be trained on.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DEBT COLLECTOR
- No industry experience is required, call center experience recommended
- Strong, clear, and intelligible voice
- Good communication skills
- Typing skills
- Negotiation and people skills
- Work at a fast pace on a computer
- Ability to pass our background check

WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time collections position requires working Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM CST and Fridays, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM CST.
