Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP (LBBS) is seeking an experienced Billing Manager. This position operates from its Los Angeles office and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Managerial Skills â–ªOperational
Responsible for the timely production and processing of the firm’s standard and electronic invoices. Invoices must be prepared and submitted in strict accordance with various clients’ guidelines. Ensure a coordinated and efficient month-end close. Prepare and distribute month-end statistical and financial reports. ▪Staff Supervision
Hiring, training, and evaluating members of the billing staff. Staff presently consists of thirty billers, e-billers and appeal specialists. â–ªProfessional
Work closely and cooperatively with attorneys, administration, MIS and other members of the law firm. Competently and promptly answer verbal and written billing and related questions from attorneys and clients. Minimum Requirements
â–ª 5 years or more of law firm billing experience.
â–ª 3 years or more of progressive managerial and leadership experience.
â–ª Experience with the Elite Software Package a plus
▪ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
â–ª Above average oral and written communication skills.
â–ª Excellent computer skills.
