Accountant candidates for an excellent opportunity to join a growing privately held distribution/manufacturing firm. The selected professional for this ! part-time (20-24 hr/week) position will enjoy flexible hours (min 4 hrs/day) and be involved in all financially related aspects of the company.
Responsibilities Include:
Monthly JE, GL reconciliations, FS presentation, month-end close, analysis, audit work, etc. Interaction with customer service, sales and other internal departments to ensure accuracy of accounting transactions & processing. Serve as back-up for billing and collections. Qualifications:
Must possess 2+ years of solid financial accounting experience
Strong attention to detail and communication & mathematical skills.
Excellent Microsoft skills (Excel & Word).
Experience with Microsoft AX is helpful but not required, client is willing to train
Communicative, provide feedback and direction on process improvements.
Team player, flexible and work independently to achieve the desired results.
