Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Financial Representative to work with the Office of Long Term Living - Bureau of Finance.
Responsibilities includ! e:
Rate Setting and Auditing :
Maintain information on Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Ventilator (Vent) grants. Run periodic Data Warehouse (DW) queries to extract payment information for DME and Vent. Prepare DME and Vent payment reports and provide the information to the auditor and Auditor General for auditing purposes. Identify and resolve discrepancies in grant information and payment information using Nursing Home Information System (NIS), DW, PROMISe and contacts outside the division. This includes research in Client Information System (CIS) on verifying deceased residents and updating an excel spreadsheet.
Assists with reviewing of the submission of NFâs MA-11 cost reports, during high season.
Assist in compiling appeal information from Bureau of Hearing and Appeal, Office of Legal Counsel and in-house excel spreadsheet to confirm accuracy.
Assist in the completion of special projects involving a wide variety of r! equests concerning the Medical Assistance Program, which inclu! des analysis of complex financial data manipulation, and non-financial historical research. These reports are used by upper level management in their contact with providers, third party reimbursement specialists (Attorneys, CPAs, etc.), other Departmental staff, Legislative and Governorâs Office personnel.
Monitor approved projects and nursing facilities to ensure compliance with conditions of approval, addendums, and stipulations, for continued participation in the Medical Assistance (MA) program.
Nursing Home Assessment Program :
Allocating monies, bank statements, checks to bank and bank reconciliation.
Create Agreed Upon Procedure (AUP) letters and calculation, when received, and follow up when payment not received within the 15 day timeframe.
Monitor and update accordingly Signature on File (SOF) updates, re-certifications not returned, late submissions of resident days and non-payment of QAPâs.
Other Dutie! s :
Scan and file documents â" past and current for entire Bureau.
Additional job-related duties to be performed by the employee as requested or directed by their chain-of-command.
Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Skills/Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor degree.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Technical computer software skills are required.
Familiarity with budgeting, budget analysis and the use of spreadsheet software in budgeting are required.
Ability to work as part of a workgroup or team are required for the unit's assigned projects.
General research and on-line computer research skills are required.
Resource needs to be knowledgeable and experienced in general budgeting and accounting principles.
Resource also needs to understand and be familiar with the operation of human service governmental operations at the fe! deral, state, county and local levels.
Project troubleshooting! and problem solving skills are required.
Basic computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Products.
