Job Description :
The Medical Review Analyst (MRA) reviews medical records that have been requested by various CMS auditors, Medicare, and Third Party review entities. Additional duties include qualitative and quantitative review of MDS, clinical, and billing documentation prior to initial submission to assure completeness and billing accuracy. The MRA will notify centers for additional documentation as needed. Should the claim be denied from a medical or technical standpoint, the MRA will write concise and effective appeal letters at the redetermination level though presentation of the case to the Administrative Law Judge through the hearing and appeals process. The MRA will become proficient in our Medical Review tracking system. The MRA will also be responsible for researching Medicare/CMS regulations for SNF and long term care as needed. The MRA will be trained in all aspects of the ADR and medical review process.

! Qualifications :
PA Licensed LPN or RN required
Strong understanding of assessment protocol required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills required.
Ability to learn database tracking systems and related software required.
