Associate - Tax Projects Delivery Group The candidate should have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in! Accounting or business related field [provided all of the minimum requirements are met for CPA licensure per respective state regulations]. Certified Public Accountant [or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA licensure], Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar required. Should have 1 year of experience. Working knowledge of corporate tax issues of large organizations with Research and Development budgets an advantage.
Some technical skills with research credit regulations from the IRS, research credit case law, and utilizing R&D databases are desired. Working experience identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervi! sor a plus. Working experience as a team member: understanding! personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff a bonus.
