We are looking for a thorough Porter who will take responsibility for completing work and other required tasks in order to upkeep good condition and functionality of premises.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Perform facilities maintenance duties, including minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Assist with moving furniture and equipment as required
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Operate buffing machines to maintain floor surfaces
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Porter or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects
