The Inside Sales Executive (âISEâ), which is an entry-level position, promotes and sells DQâs consulting services through direct client contacts within an assigned geographic territory. The ISE will ge nerate leads and will then cold call potential clients. The goal of the ISE position is to identify prospective clients, s chedule sales calls and identify sales opportunities for specific project-related work. This position is characterized by a sustained record of sales achievement and complete knowledge of the organization's policies, products and/or services.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently increase revenue using various tools and methods, including cold calling, prospecting and other sales resources to schedule appointments.
- Reliably forecast business on a monthly and quarterly basis to accurately predict revenue goals and build a consistent pipeline.
- Manage and prioritize sales leads and direct prospects through a series of questions to further qualify and competitively position DQâs unique consulting services.
- Develop and build a pipeline of new business opportunities by using specific methods for territory development that includes cold calling and strategic research.
- Submit reports of sales activities.
- Develop existing DQ customers into new business opportunities by cross selling and up selling into new projects.
- Learn the key features and benefits of DQâs products and service offerings.
- Maintain level of key metrics to meet minimum activity requirements (call volume) on a consistent basis from the Salesforce.com customer relationship management database, Martindale-Hubbell, law firm websites, etc.
- Schedule appointments for the outside sales team.
- Maintain the sales database (SalesForce) including setting tasks for follow-up, lead tracking and pipeline development efforts.
- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
- 2-3 years experience in consultative sales
- Proven track record of exceeding quota and business goals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections
- Previous telephone marketing/sales experience
- Quick learner with demonstrated sales ability
- Self starter with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Persistent sales professional with extensive cold calling experience
