Assists attorneys in the patent prosecution department by providing technical and/or scientific expertise as it pertains to various cases. Reviews complex data, researches information and summarizes findings for attorney review.
Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
1.Researches and evaluates technical materials relating to issues of patentability, invalidity and infringement/noninfringement.
2.Assists in the preparation and prosecution of US foreign patent applications.
3.Assists in preparation of patentability and noninfringement opinions.
4.Provides technical support for patent litigation.
5.Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical/scientific field to include engineering (electrical preferred), computer science, biology, chemistry, etc.
Minimum Experience:
Entry Level. Must have strong and thorough knowledge in field of study. Ability to understand, interpret and resolve complex issues and problems. Experience writing reports, summarizing findings and presenting data as normally acquired through college-level courses or related work experience.
Special Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent verbal and writing skills required, ability to both work! independently and interact with attorneys and clients, gather specific details of patent and provide detailed reports on technical or scientific data. Must be a self-starter and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
