Designs and conducts training programs. Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period and for career development. Involved in initial p! lan design and existing plan enhancements. Ensures compliance with company, departmental, regulatory agencies guidelines.
Identifies training needs. Develops more complex training courses and related materials, which may involve working with subject matter experts (SMEâs). Applies adult learning concepts and conducts and delivers training in various formats such as one-on-one, groups, and remotely. Works with managers to identify future training and business requirements. Analyzes course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements. Maintains training records. May conduct quality reviews. May develop and implement advanced education sessions, tools, and events. May develop related educational programs and communication tools. May develop and manage in-service educational programs. Maintains training and policy and procedure manuals. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Pe! rforms a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the! work of others. A wide degree of creativity and attitude is expected.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree. At least five years of training experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiar with a variety of fieldâs concepts, practices, and procedures. Prior managed care experience. If Clinical, current licensure to practice as a registered nurse. Strong clinical background with at least three years of clinical nursing experience and at least three years managed care or physicians practice experience.
Preferred Requirements: For MDQO, knowledge of Medicare risk adjustment terminology and related clinical/healthcare/managed care terminology. Experience supporting testing in a software development environment, healthcare information systems, and/or work process flowcharting techniques.
