The Human Resources Manager guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for our Client. The major areas of r! esponsibility of the Human Resources manager will include:
recruiting and staffing;
employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training;
benefits administration;
compliance with regulatory concerns regarding employees;
policy development and documentation;
performance management and improvement systems;
advises company managers about Human Resources issues
employee relations;
charitable giving
The primary objectives of the Human Resources Manager will be to facilitate the development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
The position will be based in the Fort Washington, PA area.
Human Resources Manager Job Requirements
Knowledge and experience in recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee policy development and documentation, maintaining compliance with labor! regulations, performance management systems and employee rela! tions and communications
Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an HR function for a growing organization.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the senior management team
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel and experience with using payroll and benefit providersâ systems
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment law attorney.
Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs and processes.
Excellent organizational management skills.
Education and Experience Required for Human Resources Manager Candidates
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in! Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development.
A minimum of five years of progressive experience in Human Resources positions
Human resources training which may include employment law, compensation, benefits, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations or other specialized HR training
Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations preferred
