Please note: for this position, we are specifically looking for a Music Therapist. Particular interest and expertise in using music as a means of pai! n management and related interventions, as well as expertise related to relaxation techniques, is preferred.
Licensure and/or Board Certification in respective Creative Arts, Music or Art.
Master’s Degree in Creative Arts Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of infant, child, and adolescent growth and development.
- Previous and/or current experience working with infants, children, and adolescents.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete duties in a timely and organized manner.
- Work collaboratively and in a positive manner with others.
- Perform work according to CHOP policies and procedures, professional standards of care, and applicable laws.
- Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards.
- Provides care with sensitivity and respect.
- Advances care through development of new ideas a! nd technology.
- Promotes teamwork to achieve CHOP’s ! mission.
- Understands and exceeds customer expectations.
Job Description:
Responsible for supporting children, teens and family members by providing: developmentally appropriate individual and group Creative Arts Therapy interventions to help reduce stress, increase adaptive coping, and enhance developmental growth.
