As a part of the Knowledge Management department, the SharePoint Content Specialist will assist in the day to day support of preparing and publishin! g content to the Firm's Extranet and Intranet platforms built on SharePoint. They will also provide a high-level of professional customer service support to Extranet and Intranet users; including, Partners, Associates, Clients and staff. Enthusiasm, attention to detail and responsiveness are keys to success in this role. This position is not limited to these responsibilities and may be revised as needed from time to time. Essential Functions
Assist in preparing content for publication via SharePoint; including, lists, libraries and pages.
Provide training to attorneys and staff in use of the Firm's Extranet and Intranet platforms; resolve 1st and 2nd Tier end-user and content manager questions.
Ability to manage small-to-medium sized initiatives from ideation to fruition.
Contribute to the migration / conversion of content from individuals, 3rd party web applications, Firm applications or other sites to SharePoint.
Quickly and ef! ficiently resolves incoming telephone and E-mail requests for ! assistance from users experiencing problems with Extranet and Intranet platforms, escalate as necessary, and follow-through completion.
Gather Intranet and Extranet metrics; assist in the preparation of spreadsheets, reports and slide-decks.
Provide assistance and support in drafting and updating documentation and instructional materials.
Regularly communicates with Knowledge Management team to ensure support expectations are met.
Assist with user account maintenance tasks.
Special projects as required by the Knowledge Management department
General administrative tasks and duties assigned on an as needed basis. Requirements
Education:
Four year College Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Experience:
Two years experience providing content management, customer service and/or technical support in a large professional services environment. Two years experience work! ing with one or more of the following: Content Management, Extranets, Intranets, Client Relationship Management (CRM), Document Management System (DMS). Law firm experience preferred.
Skills:
Experience and a strong working knowledge of MS Office is required. Prior experience with SharePoint is preferred. Familiarity with HTML is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with keen problem solving skills. Pride of ownership with customer service. Must have the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users, and the ability to work and communicate with users of all levels from Partners to Secretaries, as well as Clients, with a high level of professionalism. A motivated self-starter who is able to work independently as well as part of a team, and manage one's own time. Patient and positive attitude when helping users learn and adopt Knowledge Management tools. Typical Physical Demands:

Working Conditions:
Works in a typical office setting. Occasionally called upon to work overtime. Will be required to travel frequently between offices in assigned regional as well as occasional travel to offices and sites outside of assigned region.
