With minimal direct supervision, the Background Screening Manager will deliver subject matter expertise, supervision and thought leadershi! p for the Background Screening team based on strong process, communication and technology and enablement of compliance functions.

Duties
- Organizes, develops and administers a comprehensive information security programs designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of consumerâs personal information, including information accessible to clients;
- Develops critical success factors and is responsible for the successful outcomes related to independent CRA audits of USSC security programs
- Maintains procedures to limit the furnishing of credit reports to those with a permissible purpose.
- Reviews and revises programs to ensure organizational compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 and associated Consumer Credit Reporting Act elements
- Reviews and revises programs to ensure organizational! compliance with DPPA (Driver Privacy Protection Act 18 USC 27! 21)
- Responsible for all aspects of CRA accreditation process including proposed changes or amendments to standards, assesses the impact of changes on current policies and procedures.
- Manages the overall operations of the Pre-Employment Screening Department
- Establishes and maintains all policies and procedures related to the screening process
- Conducts pre-employment screening as needed
- Oversees all technical aspects of the internal screening processes
- Vendor procurement and management for all investigative services
- Resolves customer service, support, and complaints, including disputes by consumers under the FCRA
- Provides technical support, education, & custom price responses to RFPâs to all sales executives.
- Monitors changes in Human Resource and EEOC policies in relation to our client base
- Maintains involvement in NAPBS and administers the application of the information obtained !
- Monitor IT & Security issues related to the storage of background investigation protected information
- Develops criminal histories and court filings/procedures
- Oversees attorney based work product investigations and other general investigative opportunities
- Manages the life cycle and outcomes of all company IT business projects related to system compliance, cohesion, security, and general necessity
- Participates in conferences, training sessions, and meetings
- Exercises considerable initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assignments; receives general administrative direction; work is reviewed through conferences, reports, and evaluation of operational results.
- Resolves work grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Human Resources for action
- Prepares work schedules; assigns or delegates responsibilities; provides work directives; resolves problems; sets deadlines to ensure completion of inves! tigative functions
- Interprets and disseminates USSC policies t! o subordinate personnel; and evaluates employee performance
Four (4) years of specialized technical experience directly related to the duties above, Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from an accredited college/ university.
