The Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, and maintaining promotional materials inventory. The ability to work i! ndependently, organize and prioritize work assignments, and feel comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment is a must.
Serves as key point of contact for Marketing, reviewing requests and recommending communication solutions as appropriate. Works with Marketing staff to plan and coordinate complex projects, through all stages, to ensure solution is produced in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Researches, writes, edits, and reviews content as needed.
Coordinates the development, review and execution of projects and collateral to support product marketing plans and client needs regarding awareness, acquisition and retention efforts for United Concordia.
Keeps materials ready by coordinating requirements and delivery, tracking inventory and placing orders
Assist with evaluating the effectiveness of messages and media and adjust to achieve optimal results; suggest new approaches to the marketing and communication ex! isting products.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Communications, Business Communications, English or Marketing
- Three (3) years combined experience with developing, producing and distributing communication materials.
- Three (3) years communications experience in health care, insurance or other service industries.
- Two or more (2+) years of project management experience in a corporate communications or agency environment
- Experience that demonstrates a strong writing ability with special emphasis on sales-oriented techniques and the ability to compose rough layouts and judge type and photography/artwork.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Corporate content management software and good general computer skills.
- Experience that demonstrates the ability to budget time and organize work effectively; dependability in meeting deadlines; willingness to work beyond normal hours to meet pressing deadlines; strong attention to detail; excell! ent organizational skills and project planning; and the ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously at various stages of completion.
- An advanced understanding of the English language, style, syntax, and usage, and the ability to produce interesting, professional communications in variety of formats, subject to stringent deadlines, with limited input from internal customer areas.
- Thorough knowledge of communications production process and techniques, including electronic and print production, layout/design and distribution process.
- High degree of problem-solving ability.
- Ability to interface with internal personnel at various levels within various departments and to negotiate with various internal and external production resources.
- Ability to comprehend complex products and/or situations and present them in a logical, easy-to-understand, persuasive format.
- MA/MB in M! arketing or Business
- Knowledge and experience with direct resp! onse campaign development and execution and development of sophisticated marketing plans for new product introductions in both B2B and B2C markets.
