Your daily responsibilities include:
Summary: Assists Sr. Vice President/General Counsel and other legal personnel of administrative and clerical work relating to legal, business, regulatory and governmental affairs by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for compiling incident reports.
Responsible for regulatory filings.
Assist with scheduling litigation.
Assists in the preparation of basic agreements, license applications and correspondence of legal nature.
Oversees acquisition and distribution of information from and to appropriate property level p! ersonnel.
May assist in research of legal materials in law! library publications.
Routes articles to attorney and other company officials, as deemed appropriate.
Manages calendar and assists in meeting deadlines.
Coordinates meetings, conference calls, and video conferences.
Performs other administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, taking dictation, composing and typing routine correspondence, and reading and routing incoming mail.
Files correspondence and legal documents in office filing system.
Manages and analyzes payments to law firms.
Ensures proper indexing and filing of original legal documents.
May be required to back-up office receptionist.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or at least five years relevant working experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a legal environment is not required.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence that is accurate in both content and tone. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform moderately complex addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to think independentl! y and solve problems with little or no guidance is essential. Individua! l must be self-motivated and able to anticipate the needs of other members of the team. Work environment will often provide opportunities for autonomous decision-making. Individual must also possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to achieve objectives furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

This job requires a very organized, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable balancing many tasks simultaneously. Ability to quickly update and receive information from team members is important. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic with a team that enjoys their work and a collegial working environment. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to deal with a variety of situations. Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, specificall! y, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and be comfortable searching and retrieving information from the Internet.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Certification in paralegal or legal administration helpful, but not required.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Other Skills And Abilities:
Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Must be highly skilled in the use of personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and other business software.
