The QA Engineer will perform quality assurance activities within the Software product developm! ent group. The role requires individuals to turn a business vision into a physical reality. The candidate must be able to work in short development cycles side-by-side with the development and product management teams to deliver production ready software each cycle. This encompasses reviewing and analyzing user stories and prototypes, and creating efficient and effective test cases. Thoroughness, excellent time management skills, and a strong attention to detail are required.
Requirements: Strong foundation with QA practices and methodologies. Demonstrated experience with requirements/user story analysis, test authoring, estimation, web-based user interface testing and back-end verification. Hands on experience testing products in a Web 2.0 and SaaS environment (.Net, HTML 5, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON and Ajax.) with multiple types of browsers. Mobile testing experience is preferred Strong working knowledge of database technologies (MS SQL) Experienc! e with Agile and Test Driven Development Undertake complete pr! ojects or step into an ongoing project and become an immediate contributor. Analyze requirements and deliver realistic estimates for the implementation of related functionality. Experience working with international and geographically dispersed teams spanning the globe. 2-plus years of overall software testing experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
