Further informations about this occupation opportunity kindly see the descriptions. The Firm is currently seeking a Manager of Recruitment in the Philadelphia office. The employeeâs workweek will be a minimum of 40 hours, but actual hours of work! each week will be determined by the needs of the firm and its clients. The Manager of Recruitment will provide a full range of recruiting services for all offices including, but not limited to, legal and staff recruiting, on-campus recruiting of law students, oversight of the firmâs summer associate program, and orientation and integration of all first year and lateral attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Manage the hiring process for all staff and non-partner attorney candidates. Work closely with the Human Resources Department and Department Chairs, among others, to achieve the firmâs hiring objectives. Develop, maintain and oversee attorney recruitment materials.
Oversee all aspects of new attorney arrival, orientation, and initial training. Coordinate pre-arrival activities including bar review stipends and related issues. Oversee all aspects of lateral attorney arrival, orientation, initial training, and integration.
Manage attorney licensing a! nd compliance (ABA, Disciplinary Board and other attorney comp! liance and/or membership programs).
Support the Hiring Committee in the management of the firmâs Summer Associate Program. Maintain regular communication with candidates prior to arrival. Administer orientation. Plan, coordinate, and attend summer events. Oversee work assignments and work allocation, and evaluation of same. Prepare, maintain, and monitor Summer Program budget. Report on candidates to Hiring Committee.
Qualifications: BA/BS required 4+ years previous experience in the same or related position Law firm experience strongly preferred Highly professional appearance and demeanor, and ability to maintain confidentiality essential Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, as well as function independently Ability to interface with all levels of management and staff in order to move the firmâs recruiting objectives forward Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously - .
