Position Summary:
Special Counsel Nurse-Attorney to utilize their unique knowledge for malpractice or personal injury lawsuits, as legal health consultants or as expert witnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and other documents to determine
- Research medical issues to use as r! eference them in legal cases
- Draft pleadings, motions and other legal documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Trial preparations
- MUST have both a nursing degree (RN) and Juris Doctor
- Advanced knowledge of casualty claims, local and national healthcare information
- Exceptional analytical and technical writing skills
