Associate, State and Local Tax The candidate will assist multi-state companies with state and local tax issues, including income tax compliance and related research. Will help clients with tax issues related to income and franchise taxes. Prepare and/or review state income tax estimated payments, extensions and tax returns and primarily work at the client site. Assist in handling notices received from state tax authorities. Research and draft technical memoranda related to compliance issues.
The can! didate should have a Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in Taxatio! n, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university. Must have 1 year of experience performing tax research and providing technical advice on multi-state tax issues. Excellent writing, communication, and tax research skills are required.
