Operations Assistant, Out of Print (Open to Remote)


 

Out of Print, a division of Penguin Random House, is hiring an operations assistant to assist with sales and marketing functions primarily related to the management and organization of items, inventory, and related records.


Out of Print’s mission is to spread the joy of reading by transforming literary classics into bookish apparel and accessories. Designed with readers in mind, our products feature iconic book cover artwork and literary references to delight bookworms of all ages. Our shirts, totes, socks and accessories give readers a chance to wear their favorite stories and share their love of reading with the world.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing item, inventory, and related records in multiple systems
  • Communicating with vendors and other external partners
  • Maintaining an up-to-date set of standard operating procedures for your tasks
  • Collaborating with design, marketing, customer service, AR, and AP teams to gather and share information
  • Flexibility to provide coverage for other tasks as needed

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel

The salary for this position is $48,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
