Position: Producer, EditorialLocation: Los Angeles, CA
Hours of Operation: 10:00am – 6:00pm PST
- Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 USD annually
POSITION SUMMARY:
Company 3 Los Angeles is seeking an Editorial Producer for our offline editorial department. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Avid, knowledge of post-production workflows and the ability to clearly communicate these workflows to clients. The candidate should be able to handle multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously, must be meticulous and well organized, be able to deftly handle client requests and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
MAIN DUTIES:
As the Editorial Producer, you will work with the Senior Producer to coordinate the transition of Editorial projects from Sales to Operations and Engineering. You will intake all client requests from editorial teams regarding their Avid edit systems working in facility, remotely, or at another location, and communicate with clients to go over timelines and workflows, provide options that can streamline their experience. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Work with the Senior Producer to ensure client requests match bids from Sales, update when necessary. Ensure Engineering and Operations are apprised of all potential upcoming projects along with approved projects. Ensure Engineering and Operations are aware of all details of client requests
- Facilitate fulfillment and logistics of Avid edit system builds
- Coordinate weekly billing with Accounting, request purchase orders from clients
- Ensure editorial clients have a solid workflow from Dailies to Editorial to Finishing, whether at Company 3 or other vendors
- Maintain client communication throughout, anticipate issues, be the point of contact for any issues and continually provide updates from Engineering to the client. Must have enough flexibility in hours to respond to urgent client requests outside of regular business hours
- Anticipate potential conflicts regarding scheduling, propose solutions
- Continually identify ways to streamline processes and work with Engineering and Operations to innovate and adapt our services to our clients’ needs
WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Avid and post-production workflows. They will be reliable, punctual, and must be proficient with MS Office, Teams, Google Docs. We are looking for an individual who is meticulous, detail oriented, able to easily multitask, take initiative and be a self-starter.

The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off.
