Join our team as a dispatcher for our plumbing company. In this remote position, you will be a vital liaison between our skilled technicians and valued customers. Your organizational skills and communication skills will play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination of plumbing services from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and routing. Efficiently schedule plumbing service appointments by considering technician availability and geographic logistics for optimal efficiency.
- Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customers by providing updates on service timing, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Technical Support: Offer remote support to field technicians, ensuring they have the information and resources they need to complete assignments successfully.
- Emergency Response: Handle emergency calls calmly, quickly dispatching the appropriate personnel to resolve urgent plumbing problems.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of service requests, jobs and customer interactions using our dispatch software. Generate reports as needed.
Requirements:
- Work Experience: Experience in a dispatch position.
- Technology Skills: Ability to use dispatch software, email and telephone systems. Ability to adapt and leverage evolving technologies for effective remote coordination.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally and effectively with both customers and technicians.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think quickly, troubleshoot problems, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
