This will be a long term contract opportu! nity in Fort Washington, PA.
Purpose: The ServiceNow System Admin will be responsible for the hands-on configuration and administration of the customers ServiceNow.com environment(s). The role is a heavily slanted toward the configuration of the ServiceNow platform using ServiceNowas UI based configuration capabilities
Accountabilities: The ideal candidate will have proven implementation experience with ITSM solutions, a background in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) business processes, and a working knowledge of IT operations. Past work experience with help desk operations, IT service management, asset management, network and systems management or similar technologies is a definite plus. This role is dedicated to working directly with the ServiceNow.com application. The ideal candidate needs to have good communication skills and strong technical aptitude.
Required Skills:
Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA S! cript, Web Services, http, etc.)
Knowledge of LDAP/active ! directory configuration
Understanding of ITIL concepts; ITIL foundations certification recommended
A thorough understanding of the various roles and responsibilities in an organization
Ability to negotiate with multiple levels of associates.
