The Marketing Pitches & Proposals Specialist will assist the Marketing Proposal Team and Business Development Group with the coordination of! client presentations and proposals to support the generation of new business and client development and retention. Essential Functions Assist with activities related to responding to RFXs, including marshaling resources, authoring materials, formatting documents in alignment with the firm's style guidelines, proofreading, and overseeing proposal and presentation production/delivery. Prepare custom and semi-custom client and prospective client pitch materials for attorney meetings, and presentations. Assist Proposal Team in maintaining and updating Reed Smith proposal information, including authoring the appropriate language for general and/or often-used sections and data entry of new information into the Content Management System (CMS) and DigitalFile Foldering System. Coordinate with the Business Development Group and Marketing Content Auditor to enter/update new information into the Content Management System (CMS) and DigitalFile Foldering System on a regular basis. Assi! st Proposal Team with regularly populating the Matter Profilin! g Tool (MPT) with new matters, capturing the knowledge found in various marketing resources via email and hard copy communications. Assist Proposal Team in maintaining relevant firm intranet page/links Assist Business Development Group with data entry and maintaining client records in the firm's CMS and CRM tools. Assist Proposal Team with coding and archiving all relevant original RFX documents, proposals and pitchbooks in the CRM regularly, eliminating backlogs. Prepare regular reports of Pitch and Proposal activity using the CRM system. Master the CMS, CRM and MPT tools. Meet with attorneys as necessary. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
Education:
College degree in Marketing or related field required.
Experience:
Marketing degree or two years experience in a marketing-related field required. Experience in a law firm or professional services environment essential.
Skills:
! Microsoft Office 2010 experience preferred. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications a plus. Ability to work with little supervision. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have high degree of poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts. Deadline driven position and candidate must be able to prioritize workload and solve problems quickly. Must be able to assist individuals of various levels with needs and problems and react to difficult situations appropriately. Other

Must be able to operate computer and other office machines such as fax, calculator, telephone, etc.
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones and other office equipment.

Req! uires the ability to multi-task and handle projects from various indivi! duals. Must also address diverse issues on a daily basis. Must be able to handle stressful situations and interact with various personalities at all levels in the Firm. Must be able to make judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations. Must be able to grasp and apply new ideas.
Working Conditions:
Occasionally called upon to work in excess of 40 hours per week. Works in a typical office setting.
