The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, one to two years of litigation technology support experience, a working knowledge of the litigation process and a! strong understanding of the use of technology to support litigation efforts, especially e discovery.
The position will involve significant contact with lawyers and paralegals and require strong interpersonal, communication, project management and technology skills.
The candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized and a team player.
Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, XML or SQL programming a plus.

Participates as a team member and assists attorneys, paralegals and senior litigation technology professionals with litigation matters by playing a fundamental role in the work required to support the company's clients. This hands-on intermediate position provides technology support to the case teams, including vendor management for small or routine matters, database management, e-discovery and trial project management and training.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Works with case teams to ass! ess and support technology needs throughout all stages of the litigation process. Responsible for the hands-on technical aspects of document organization and control, including electronic discovery and document productions in varying electronic formats. Coordinates with senior litigation technology professionals and case teams to communicate with and manage outside vendors for electronic discovery and imaging projects. Works with senior litigation technology professionals and vendors to prepare project design and coding manuals. Acts as a contact for routine service issues with scanning, e-discovery and trial support vendors.
2. Manages litigation databases, including design, creation and maintenance. Oversees data acquisition and delivery to vendors, verifies data integrity, imports images, data and transcripts into databases, exports data, corrects vendor errors, reformats and converts data, and designs forms and reports. Oversees data loading, formatting and delivery! . Troubleshoots and recommends technical solutions. Maintains accurate ! chain of custody records. Utilizes Relativity, Introspect, Concordance, LAW, Microsoft Access, Excel, Adobe, LiveNote, CaseMap, Outlook, Lotus Notes, Sanction, vendor repositories, and editing and conversion tools.
3. Communicates, corresponds and interacts with clients and outside entities under supervision of attorneys and paralegals.
4. Provides one-on-one or case team training and teaches fundamental litigation technology classes in attorney and staff training programs. Serves as a mentor to and provides leadership and training as needed.
5. Complies with department and administrative procedures and policies.
6. Assists with department projects as needed and performs other work-related duties as assigned by the Lead E-Discovery Manager.
