Job Description:
PricewaterhouseCoopers is nationally recognized for its in-depth technical knowledge and experience in taxation. Our National Operations Group features a multi-disciplined staff including: accountants, attorneys, economists and technologists from a variety of backgrounds, including former government officials (e.g., from the Treasury Department, the IRS and Congressional tax staffs), corporate tax directors, tax professionals from law firms, technology professionals and tax advisors from the Firm's practice offices. Team members serve as business advisors to clients by: monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory tax developments; assisting clients in developing strategies in anticipation of tax law changes and regulatory developments; analyzing the economic impact of tax legislation and federal budget proposals; and addressing technology needs to support tax function effectiveness.
T! o support these efforts, the Tax Solution Center provides a centralized! enabling infrastructure to aid in the identification, capture, delivery, enhancement, R&D, marketing, hosting and support of repeatable Tax solutions/accelerators, solution components and services. The Tax Solution Center works in close cooperation with Marketing, Sales and XLOS client service teams, while taking point on delivery and continuous enhancement of Tax solutions.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of professional services selling and the ability to build and sustain long term relations with clients to drive revenue, as this role will be the client site representative for the Solution Center. Demonstrates a proven record of success in a sales role in a professional services organization, includinges activities directly related to the pursuit of new business, such as qualifications, scoping, proposal development, solution demonstrations and close activities.
Demonstrates extensive und! erstanding of strategic business plans, requirements and processes across multiple industries. Specifically, a combined technology and business background, including methodology and solutions expertise, as well as project management and process improvement expertise.
Demonstrates very thorough knowledge of the management of technical and business teams evaluating technologies and methods in order to lead design workshops used to gather requirements, conduct work flow analysis and outline business rules and produce functional specifications and requirements definitions.
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive experience in the development and management of client relationships and in the execution of the sales process to close the business deal through executive contacts with the target, which includes extensive experience to identify client issues and priorities and provide solutions based upon the services of the firm.
Demonstrates extensi! ve abilities and/or a proven record of success to identify and address ! client needs, including the following: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
Some experience developing, documenting, communicating, and recommending plans for investing in systems/business architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities. Some experience developing, documenting, communicating, and enforcing a technology standards policy.
The majority of this role will be spent managing projects to develop and! execute sales process, develop long term client relationships, provide solutions to clients and bring in new business.
Min Year Exp: 10 years
Min Degree(s) and Certifications: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a technology or business related field required.
Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Project Management Professional certification preferred.
