Our client is one of the largest insurance agencies in
Pennsylvania offering a full line of commercial and personal insurance, employee benefits, surety, and
financial services. This agency is also part of one of
the state's largest regional banks, which provides
producers with a steady flow of leads. The agency is
experiencing tremendous growth and therefore is looking
to add an Employee Benefits Producer to their Pittsburgh
office.

Position Description:
The EB Producer's primary focus is to drive new revenue
by identifiying, qualifying, developing and closing new

client opportunities. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Spending a majority of time generating new employee
benefit relationships with small to midsize
companies (25+ employees)
  • Cultivation and maintaining relationships with
numerous sources of new business, including company
officials, attorneys, accountants and social
acquaintances
  • Meeting with prospects to explain the company'! s
insurance products and identifying prospect's nee! ds
and opportunities and then implementing a sales
strategy
  • Expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing
new products and services

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have strong sales and people
skills, a genuine desire to help others, and an interest
in keeping informed on the changing economic, legal,
financial planning and investment trends and stay up to
date. Specifically the individual will have the

following qualifications:
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a high
performing sales representative with a successful
track record of identifying and calling on
appropriate decision-makers, overcoming obstacles,
closing accounts and developing and maintaining
client relationships.
  • Must have experience analyzing group health, dental,
life, and disability quotes and benefit plan
options.
  • Excellent ! presentation and communication abilities.
Must be articulate and able to write and speak
clearly and concisely, yet in an accurate and
persuasive manner.
  • The individual must be flexible, decisive, creative
and committed to customer service excellence with
strong interpersonal, sale and relationship
management skills.
  • Knowledge of Affordable Health Care Act.
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field.
