The Office of Continuing Studies is seeking applications for adjunct teaching positions from qualified candidates in the following non-credit, certificate based programs:
Paralegal Studies: Practicing Attorneys with experience in working and or teaching Estates & Trusts and Real Estate:
Human Resources ( PHR / SPHR / GPHR );
Project Management (Foundations of Project ** Management; PMP Prep, CAPM );
Facilities Management ( FMP );
Sustainability ( SFP );
Supply Chain Management ( ! CSCP );
Alcohol and Drug Counseling ( CADC );
Financial Management programs â" including:
Treasury Management ( CTP ), Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Internal Audit ( CIA ), Management Accounting ( CMA ).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of weekly class schedule â" syllabus â" additional referenced materials â" and teaching tools for classroom delivery (classroom and on-line).
Teach required material(s) to students using technology tools provided by the University and by the education partner.
Provide an environment of learning that is welcoming, interactive and focused.
Prov! ide administrative tasks, including but not limited to, distribution of materials, attendance monitoring,reporting of activities to a CS administrator and submission of final grades.
Attend faculty meetings as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masterâs Degree required for all adjunct faculty.(Paralegal instructors must be a licensed practicing attorney or a certified Paralegal with a Masterâs Degree).
Must be certified in the field you desire to teach such as: SPHR in Human Resources; PMP in Project Management; CFM or FMP in Facility Management; Alcohol and Drug Counseling ( CADC ).
Must have prior leadership experience.
Prior teaching experience required.
Proven Ability to teach successfully both in the classroom and on-line.
Must have a laptop computer with Windows 7 or 8 and Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific knowledge of Blackboard, Illuminate! , Adobe Connect and other classroom delivery methods.
Strong u! nderstanding of adult learning principles.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
Standing for period up up to 3 hours at a time;
Lifting of boxes up to 30 lbs;
Courses are taught primarily nights between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m Monday through Friday and also on Saturdays (depends on program).
