Job Description
- Oversee all legal matters in Indonesia, including regulatory compliance, contracts, litigation, and intellectual property
- Advise the leadership position and global team on legal issues affecting the company in Indonesia
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant legal issues affecting the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance in all business operations
- Manage external legal counsel as needed
- Participate in multicultural teams and contribute to a positive team environment
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable law school, LLM degree from overseas will be a huge advantage
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant legal experience
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to travel frequently to Sumatra
