THE OPPORTUNITY
The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team.
The Human Resources Assistant position reports to the Human Resources Manager. The position is full-time, on-site daily Monday through Friday. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West LA.
The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with documentation and logging (data entry) activities related to human resources.
    • Forming and maintaining employee records and personnel files; scan, email, copy, organize, etc.
    • Update and maintain internal staff emergency contacts, organizational charts, badges, dietary restrictions, etc.
    • Assist with new hire orientation.
    • Coordinate and organize appointments and meetings.
    • Coordinate flight and/or hotel accommodations.
    • Assist with event planning and implementation, including monthly birthday celebrations, All-Hands meetings, employee meetings, etc.
    • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information private and confidential.
    • Work in tandem with front desk coordinators on various employee-related tasks or projects.
    • Support Human Resources team members with other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, experiencing multiple deadlines.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to work independently.
    • Excellent and effective oral and written communication.
    • Responsible, reliable, and punctual with great time management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
    • Enjoys participating and contributing to a well-functioning team.
    • Understanding and commitment to customer service with a high emphasis on professionalism and a positive, user-friendly attitude.
$25 - $28 an hour
The pay range is NOT a guarantee, is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
NOTE - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts. Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.
