Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst is an integral member of the reimbursement team and has primary responsibility to ensure compliance with all Centers for Medicare & Medicaid federal regulato! ry requirements. This is achieved by performing quarterly claims audits, working with internal and external staff to correct performance deficiencies, identifying internal areas for improvement, serving as a compliance contact and interpreting CMS requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Summarize and communicate regular audit updates to senior / executive management.
Documentation: Obtain necessary documentation (updated medical order, clinical notes, patient agreement, etc.)
Patient / Physician / Sales Interaction: Contact patient, physician office, and territory manager to relay and/or obtain pertinent information and/or documents.
Medicare Telephone Hearings and Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Requests: Submit request along with supporting documentation to CMS; track requests; follow-up with CMS on requests that have not been scheduled; prepare files for hearings and ALJ meetings, and participate in! those meetings.Ability to manage multiple priorities and proj! ects and meet deadlines;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training programs and making presentations to staff and providers.
Tracking / Monitoring audit activity
Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Educations and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration.
Prior Medicare DME billing / collections experience.
Superior communication and customer service skills, and ability to h! andle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
