Process payments and invoices for distribution to clients, vendors, lending institutions or outside agencies. Research client/vendor discrepancies.
DUTIES
- Data entry proficiency
- Effective communication with financial institutions, borrowers, vendors, agents, courthouses, tax collectors, clients, attorneys, borrowers, and Company personnel to determine business needs
- Prints checks, process one or more of the following: payments, wires, transfers, reissues, credit card payments and stop payments
- Scheduled account reconciliation
- Discrepancy investigation and resolution
- Printing reports from established databases
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with established time standards
- Maintain open communication with team members and team leader
- All other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting or work experience within a financial institution loan department
- Practical work experience with one or more of the following applications: Windows, Peachtree, MAS500 and/or bank on-line systems
