Morgan Lewis is currently seeking a Practice Technology Analyst who will be resident in the New York, Washington D.C. or Philadelphia Offic! e. The Practice Technology Analyst reports to the Practice Technology Senior Project Manager and will to oversee many aspects of litigation support from the start of a case through trial proceedings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: database creation and management using Concordance, Relativity or Axcelerate; image management and document productions using IPRO, Relativity, Axcelerate, or Law; transcript management using LiveNote and trial preparations using Sanction. Additional duties include: One-on-one end user training for Concordance, Relativity, Axcelerate, IPRO and LiveNote, video editing, document scanning using IPRO Scan-It; creating and copying CD ROMs and DVDs; processing of client ESI for review in document review database or export to multiple review platforms; and providing first level technical support for litigation support applications. The candidate must be a self-starter, team player and be able to follow established SOPs & protocols relat! ed to the handling of data.
Requirements:
! Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, and at least two years of previous experience administering Concordance databases, Relativity, IPRO imaging system and LiveNote, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with e-discovery collection, processing, hosting and production processes and database administration experience are required. Recent experience with Sanction, Relativity and Axcelerate are desired. A high degree of customer/client service, exceptional organizational skills, the willingness to work in a team environment and adherence to firm standards is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work under strict deadlines, problem solve, and to interact with all levels of staff and attorneys is also necessary. Ability to work independently in a production environment, flexibility for overtime and availability for occasional t! ravel are essential.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a basic knowledge of or be proficient in the following software: Axcelerate, Relativity, IPROView, Litigator's Notebook, LiveNote, SuperForm, Concordance, TimeMap, Summation Blaze, Sanction, eRoom, MS-Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel), iManage, Adobe Reader, Acrobat Writer, MS-Access, Lotus Notes, AT&T Global Dialer, Citrix, Lotus Sametime, Blackberry, PcAnywhere, HyperTerminal, Internet Explorer, Webex, VPN, McAfee VirusScan, Flash Player, DT Search, Quickview Plus, Operating System applications such as Calculator, System Tools such as disk Cleanup.
