Established firm with an expanding Intellectual Property practice. The ideal candidate will posses experience executing, managing, and counseling across a broad range of functional areas. Experience in the following areas will be valued: patent procurement (USPTO, PCT), opinions (patentability, right-to-use, infringement, validity, Hatch-Waxman), technology transactions (in / out-licensing, joint develo! pment agreements, portfolio acquisitions, IP assessments relat! ed to M&A), patent litigation.
A suitable candidate will most likely have an established client base with a minimum of $500K in portable business. Not restricted to Big Pharma; any solid client base of institutional, small, or mid-sized clients that can reasonably compliment the existing practice will be considered. USPTO and state Bar.
Technical background: most likely a B.S. or higher in life sciences. MS / MA / PhD preferred. Strong roots in life sciences is essential. Substantial litigation expertise would also be highly valued.
