One of our growing clients seeks a contract Corporate Paralegal to assist in all its day-to-day legal operations, supporting the Senior Counsel and General Counsel.
Job Description:
Under the direction of attorneys in legal department, serve as a liaison between internal business clients and external outside counsel on a variety of projects and assignments
Review and negotiate basic contracts and conduct audits.
Provide administrative and organizational support
Provide support for special projects and act as Project Manager for small projects.
Pr! epare and process legal correspondence, documents, and other w! ritten legal material
Provide litigation support to attorneys, including coordinating internal investigations, document review, and file management
Position Requirements:
Ability to maintain highest levels of confidentiality
An ardent problem solver with an eye towards detail
Proactive and able to anticipate needs based on changing circumstances
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic, high energy personality
Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
Must be adaptable to a fast paced and changing environment and departments
Team player willing to roll up sleeves and drive action to achieve results.
Ability to create and maintain corporate, litigation and contract files
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
2+ years of paralegal experience with law firm or in-house law department
Associate or Bachelor's Degree and/or Parale! gal Certificate
